ASHLEY HOWARD
RELATIONSHIP MANAGER FOR DANCE MUSIC @ PRS FOR MUSIC
With nearly 20 years of music industry experience in rights management, distribution, publishing, labels, sync licensing and A&R, Ashley works in the membership department at rights management and music licensing organisation PRS for Music. He raises awareness of PRS for Music’s service within dance music and oversees relationships with music creators who specialise in the genre, as well as their management and publishing representatives.
He has also been intrinsic in PRS for Music's deployment of Music Recognition Technology in nightclubs and at festivals across the UK, enabling significant improvements in the accuracy of royalty payments to music creators when their music is played by DJs.
Ashley's career began working at music distribution company SRD as a sales rep for over 100 UK music retailers, before spending nearly 10 years in a variety of roles at leading independent label Hospital Records and joining PRS for Music in 2016.
