LUVAIN

MUSIC PRACTITIONER / SINGER SONGWRITER @ LUVAIN MUSIC

LUVAIN is an acclaimed 90s diva that helped define the sound of UK club culture.

She proved her mettle as a session singer, lending her heartful vocals to live performances with era-defining artists like Electribe 101, Billy Ray Martin, Erasure and Kylie Minogue to name but a few.

But that was just the beginning…

D:REAM & Take That! Tour

LUVAIN toured extensively with D:REAM and during their time supporting Take That on the Everything Changes tour, the band’s anthem “Things Can Only Get Better” soared to #1 in the Official UK charts, for four weeks becoming a global smash.

She also featured in the music videos for their hits “U R The Best Thing” (UK #4) “Take Me Away” (UK #18) and “Blame it on me” (UK #15), capturing the optimism and joyous energy and spirit of the era.

Amen! UK

LUVAIN is the fire at the centre of Amen! UK’s chart topping club anthem “Passion”. She is the sole voice and co-writer, with releases on the legendary labels Deconstruction, Feverpitch Positiva (EMI) and Central Station, entering the UK Top 20 at Number #15 in 1997 – smashing TOTP.

Amen! UK’s follow up single ’People of Love’ also sailed into the Top 40 Official UK Charts.

Blue Adonis & Serious Records

LUVAIN also featured with dance acts back in the day such as Blue Adonis, ‘Disco Revival’ using one of her aliases: Little Miss Max. Norman Jay MBE made a guest appearance in the music video, released on Serious Records.

2020's

In 2021, her re-recorded vocals powered Ewan McVicar’s viral remix to #1 in the Official UK Club Dance Chart. From their shared roots in Amen! UK, LUVAIN & Paul Masterson, (aka Wand, Yomanda and Hi-Gate) still forge a continued legacy, collaborating on their debut project with acclaimed DJs and producers.

With her electrifying stage energy, iconic high-note scream, and fearless vocal power lighting up festival stages and club nights worldwide, LUVAIN cemented ‘Passion’ as a certified 90s anthem, and herself as a delirious, delightful dance Diva.

Today, her legacy expands with fresh collaborations. Recently signed to Minds on Fire Publishing, LUVAIN is still breaking boundaries writing toplines, belting out vocals and collaborating with internationally renowned DJs and artists.

THE CYCLE OF BURNOUT IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY: SURVIVE IT. BREAK IT. COME BACK STRONGER

Burnout in the music industry isn’t random - it follows a pattern. A cycle of survival where creatives push through pressure, overextend, disconnect, crash, and rebuild… only to repeat it again.

This panel breaks that cycle down — and helps attendees identify exactly where they are within it.

We’ll also acknowledge that burnout doesn’t look the same for everyone. It can present as exhaustion, loss of creativity, anxiety, emotional numbness, high-functioning overdrive — or as deeper industry trauma that leads some to quietly struggle, withdraw, or leave altogether.

Drawing on the Continuum framework — developed through our work with artists and our retreats in the Scottish Highlands — we’ll explore how survival mode becomes normalised, why burnout keeps recurring even at high levels of success, and what it actually takes to interrupt the pattern.

Through a clear, relatable model, the audience will be guided to recognise their position in the cycle — whether they’re in overdrive, depletion, or recovery — and understand how to move forward. We’ll also share how we actively support artists to step out of burnout, rebuild safely, and re-emerge with greater clarity, resilience, and creative connection.

Led by a panel of mental health professionals alongside legacy music industry recording artists, this session brings together both clinical insight and lived experience at the highest level. Attendees will leave not just with awareness, but with grounded strategies to break the cycle, navigate industry pressures, and build a more sustainable, long-term career in music.

Presented by Love Vocals, with its mental health division SoundMind and Continuum retreats — supporting artists through burnout, recovery, and sustainable careers.
