MUSIC, PURPOSE & ACTION - FROM THE DANCEFLOOR TO THE SUMMIT
One track can change a mood. One moment can change a life. One movement can change the world.
At this year’s Brighton Music Conference, Last Night A DJ Saved My Life returns with an inspiring and interactive session exploring how music goes far beyond the dancefloor and into real, tangible impact around the world.
Join us for a powerful conversation on how individuals across the music community, artists, industry professionals, and fans alike are stepping up to create meaningful change.
Together, we’ll explore:
How music can be a force for good in today’s world
Real stories of grassroots action turning into global impact
The role we all play in shaping a more conscious, connected music industry
Simple, actionable ways YOU can get involved and make a difference
And this isn’t just talk…Previous attendees have gone on to donate to life-changing projects, fund freshwater wells, and even help deliver our Get Equipped music programme in local SEND schools supporting young people through creativity, confidence-building, and connection.
This session is about turning inspiration into action.
Special Closing Moment: Exclusive Film Preview
To close the session, we’ll share a special preview of Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, created with Big Love by Neil Kemp & Instant Karma, capturing a record-breaking journey to the summit of Kilimanjaro.
It’s the story of a community coming together through music to build a home for children with special needs in Tanzania.
It’s a reminder of what’s possible when passion meets purpose.
And a moment we hope will leave you inspired to take action in your own way.
Not just another music conference panel. One that creates real life impact.
Because together, we can move mountains.
